Description
Bronze plaque with image-in-relief of subject. Inscription on plaque reads: "Nowak Pier - In honor of Henry J. Nowak, member of congress, "The Billion Dollar Man," for community service (1966 - 1992). Constructed by U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, in cooperation with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and City of Buffalo mayor James D. Griffin."
