Description
This memorial was erected in tribute to the Empire State Games of 1985 and 1986, which were hosted in Buffalo.  The inscription on the memorial bears the names of members of the local organizing committee and reads: "To our athletes, volunteers, and sponsors, who make Western New York a better place to live."
