|
Description |
Granite relief pictures two soldiers in combat gear on patrol in a
field with the word "Korea" in relief below. Inscription on back of
memorial lists members of the Korean War Memorial Committee as well as
the landscape architect, artist, and contractor. Sides of satellite
pedestal are inscribed with the names of soldiers killed in action.
Top of pedestal is engraved with military emblems. Inscription on
embedded time capsule reads: "Korean War Memorial Time Capsule - Open
April 28, 2090."
