Description |
The five groups of figures and dates located above the building's rear

French Canadian pioneer constructing a log cabin, four surveyors
laboring with period tools, seven Native Americans offering a hatchet
to a colonist, two architects and two laborers with blueprints and
equipment, and two bargemen with a gentleman and a lady boarding a
canal barge.
