Description |
Figure of a bison. The inscription reads: "'Bison' by Cecilia Evans
Taylor Erected 1975 as a bicentennial project dedicated to the
citizens of Buffalo, N.Y. and to the citizens of her sister city,
Kanazawa, Japan, where the original bison statue is located. Placement
of this statue has been made possible through the Forsythe Fund and
the City of Buffalo Parks Department. Stanley M. Makowski, Mayor,
Robert C. Penn Commissioner of Parks."
