Buffalo Naval ParkLooking for some family fun? Buffalo is packed with things to do with the kids.

Head to the Buffalo Zoo to check out their M&T Bank Rainforest Falls exhibit, where you can get up close with vampire bats, anacondas, anteaters, piranhas and much more. While you’re there, visit the zoo’s giraffes, reptiles, lions, tigers, sea lions and bears.

Then hang out with dinosaurs and mummies at the Buffalo Museum of Science and learn about Buffalo’s Native American and pioneer history at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.

On Buffalo’s waterfront, you can explore the decks and hulls of a guided missile cruiser, destroyer and WWII submarine at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park or set sail on a Pirate Cruise with the Spirit of Buffalo.

And on a hot summer’s day, try a Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour to cool off. This 45-minute ride will take you inside the Niagara River rapids for a wild adventure, where you'll get absolutely soaked!

Want even more? Take the kids to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, where they can ride an old-fashioned carrousel, or the Explore & More Children’s Museum, a museum that will spark their creativity, curiosity and imagination.
