Babcock Street Bridge Closing Monday

The City of Buffalo Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets is announcing that work will soon start on the total reconstruction of the Babcock Street Bridge between Seneca Street and Clinton Street.   The bridge will be closed starting on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 8:00 AM and will remain closed until the spring of 2010.

A posted detour will be in place during construction.  Motorists can use Seneca Street to Bailey Avenue to Clinton Street as an alternate.
