Free transportation is available to all participating residents.
Contact: Cheryl Scheff 837-7954 After School Tutoring Program The BMHA will be offering after school tutoring for children of elementary and secondary school age. Tutoring by Literacy Volunteers will be offered Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm at the following locations: Northwest Buffalo Community Center - 155 Lawn Avenue, Room 108 Frederick Douglass Community Center - 234 Jefferson Avenue Martha Mitchell Community Center - 175 Oakmont Contact: Literacy Volunteers, 876-8991 Service Coordinator Program This program works to promote the development of local strategies to coordinate the use of assistance under the program with public and private resources, for supportive services and empowerment activities. The goal or the Service Coordinator Program are to increase earned income, reduce or eliminate the need for welfare assistance and to make progress towards achieving economic independence and self-sufficiency.
